Reading the Small Print
My heart sinks when I think of you
Into a warm , relaxing bath of memories.
And I cry when you come to mind
Tears of laughter at our silly little jokes.
I feel sick when my thoughts turn to you
Being, at any time, put in harms way.
It drives me mad when I hear your voice
On the phone, but so far from my arms.
I hate you, more than anything else,
Having to leave for work each day.
